Capt. Waqar Kakar Shaheed Balochistan Residential College Loralai is located on the main Quetta–Killa Saifullah Road in the lap of Kohar mountain, at a distance of 07 Kms from the Loralai city. It is surrounded by a boundary wall sprawling over an area of 132 acres.
Capt. Waqar Kakar Shaheed Balochistan Residential College Loralai is one of the prestigious institutions which plays a significant role in the field of education. It was established and made functional in 1989 by the Government of Balochistan under an Ordinance promulgated in 1983 by the then Governor Balochistan Lt. General (R) Rahimuddin Khan to promote quality education in the Province. Originally its name, as enshrined in the Ordinance, was Model Residential Public School but later the nomenclature was changed and upgraded to Balochistan Residential College in the year 1993.
